It has a small supermarket that can provide most of what you require in terms of food supplies.

For your car, there is an electric vehicle charging station. There is no gas station, but one can be found just 3 km away in Hermigua.

There aren’t really any beaches in or very close to Agulo. There is a pleasant walk down to a rocky area near the sea, where it is fun to sit and watch the waves. But you won’t find a beach to spend the day relaxing on.
If you like to swim or spend time on the beach, Hermigua, with beaches and a seawater swimming pool, is just 4 km away. Further afield, the beautiful bay at Playa de la Caleta, 8km away, is an ideal spot for those looking to take a dip.
Events in Agulo La Gomera
Minor events, workshops and concerts can take place in Agulo throughout the year, so keep an eye open at local visitor centres.
There are two regular and very popular events.
The Bonfires of San Marcos. In April, on the eve of San Marcos, one of the most magical nights in La Gomera takes place in Agulo. It is a festive, religious and pagan gathering that every year confirms an ancient tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation.
If you are feeling brave, you can take part in the bonfire jumping.
The Festival of Las Rosas is held in August in the nearby town of Las Rosas. There is singing, dancing and a market containing crafts from across the Island.
